My original painting  "San Gimignano" used as the front cover to Michael John Wooff's booklet.
This poet, Giacomo da Michele by name, is remembered as Folgare for the splendour of his life in San Gimignano, which is still much as he knew it - a little, walled medieval city with its crown of towers. As he lived, so he wrote. Few have evoked the pleasures of life in such colours.
